Description
Vermiculite is a mineral formed by iron or magnesium silicates, from the mica group.
It has the properties of improving the aeration of the soil, retaining the mist as well as the nutrients necessary for the feeding of roots, cuttings, and seeds for rapid growth.
Vermiculite is clean, non-toxic, and sterile.
It does not deteriorate or rot.
It is neutral (ph =7.2).
When mixed with peat, bark compost, compost, or natural soil, vermiculite accelerates the growth and anchoring of young roots.
This mixture helps to retain air, food, and humidity, fundamental aspects for the good growth of plants.
