Description
Vermiculite is a mineral formed by iron and magnesium silicates, from the mica group. It has the properties of improving the aeration of the soil, retaining the mist as well as the nutrients necessary for the nourishment of roots, cuttings and seeds for rapid growth.
Vemiculite is clean, non-toxic and sterile. It does not deteriorate or rot. It is neutral (ph =7.2).
When mixed with peat, bark compost, compost or natural soil, vermiculite accelerates the growth and anchoring of young roots.
This mixture helps to retain air, food and humidity, fundamental aspects for the good growth of plants.
